What changed in BRIX this summer
The Compliance tab
A training can now generate a completion report, a certificate and a skill card — all three, or only the one you need.
Signatures and sub-divisions
Upload or draw as many manager signatures as you need. Each sub-division can carry its own logo and colour on the documents you issue.
SCORM lessons
Your existing interactive courses come into BRIX: drop in the zip file and the lesson plays inside the app, quizzes included.
Build your own cards
No more support ticket: name, description, custom fields, expiry with reminders 30 and 15 days ahead. Three-language translation included.
Menus per audience
Each audience only sees the menus that concern them — handy for subcontractors. And an Info hub category can become a menu of its own.
Simpler sign-in
A one-time code by email or phone, on the app and on the admin portal alike. The phone number is no longer required, and SSO is available on request.
That authentication change is what signed everyone out the day before the webinar: each person logs back in once, and that is it.

Set up your organization
This step is done once for the whole organization. Every training then draws from it.

Add your sub-divisions — name, logo, colour. Each one signs its documents with its own identity.
Upload or draw the manager signatures, as many as you need. You then reuse them in any training.
A signature already used on a certificate can no longer be deleted: the history of your proof stays intact.
It is called the training module, but it is not only training. Any information whose reading and understanding you want confirmed can go through it.

What you asked us
Can I see the status of every card at once?
Not yet: tracking is card by card, with expiry and audience filters plus a CSV export. On the employee side, you can export all of their trainings to Excel from their dashboard. The full matrix is on the list for the wallet redesign.
Where is the expiry date managed — on the card or in the training?
In the training’s Compliance tab — it carries over to the card on its own. Only add an expiry field by hand for a card created outside a training. Keep custom fields for everything else: ID number, forklift models, details covered in WHMIS or dangerous goods transport.
Are certificates and cards multilingual?
Yes — French, English and Spanish together in a single PDF, so the document can be passed on as is to a subcontractor or a client.
Is a password still needed? And what about SSO?
Passwords still work but are no longer required — we recommend the one-time code, by email or phone. SSO (Microsoft, for example) can be enabled for any organization: go through our team and your IT department; fees apply.
Which trainings are available in the marketplace?
Fire extinguisher in French, WHMIS and dangerous goods transport in French and English — including a short WHMIS module offered free. Ladders and step stools, office ergonomics and a utility-knife module are coming soon. Training, add from the library: the copy arrives as a draft in your environment.
Can I add my own lessons to a marketplace training?
Yes: your policies, your documents and extra signatures can be added to the existing lessons. Worth remembering — the dangerous goods transport card must be signed by both employee and employer; that is now possible in BRIX, with nothing printed.
