BRIX updates: events, training and segments

The events module catches up with the rest of the app, your quizzes finally explain their answers, and segments save you from rebuilding the same audience for every post. Short, practical, easy to watch between shifts.

What changes this month

Events, rebuilt

The module now looks like the newsfeed — and it picked up the same tools.

— Questions for attendees: meal choice, shirt size, whatever you need

— Targeted audiences, attached PDFs, language variants, pin and duplicate

— RSVP deadline and scheduled reminders, by response status

— Response report exportable to CSV

Feedback in training

Every lesson can end with a note: a well done, a clarification, a link to the right policy.

— In quizzes: an explanation per answer, or one for the right answer and one for all the wrong ones

— Shown after each question or at the end of the lesson

— You decide whether the right answer is revealed

Segments

The small changes that save time

PDFs used as lessons are added to the completion report — including the filled-in version of a fillable PDF.

You create your own cards: name, description, expiry and reminders, plus text, choice, number or date fields.

Coming soon: change the type of a card submitted by mistake when you approve it, instead of rejecting it.

New names: the wallet becomes Cards and certificates, and the Info hub will become Resources.

Use feedback to point people back to your actual policies. Anyone who gets it wrong knows exactly where to go to improve.

Questions from the chat

What you asked us

Can I export the attendance list to Excel?

Registrations, yes: the event’s three-dot menu, "Export report". Actual attendance on the day isn’t tracked yet — add a column to the file, collect signatures if needed, then do a manual completion in the training.

Can events be used for in-person training?

Yes — classroom training, conferences, live webinars: not just parties. To keep a record, also create the training in BRIX and confirm attendance with a manual completion. A tighter link between the two modules is on the way.

Will an event's full description be shown?

It’s been requested and it’s in progress: a "see more" like the one in the newsfeed arrives in an upcoming update.

Do I still need to ask BRIX to create a card?

No. Cards and certificates, Settings, "Create a card". If you create it from a training’s Compliance tab, the expiry follows the training settings — no need to add a date field.

Can I add categories to cards (attestations, HR file)?

Not yet, but it comes up often and it’s on the list for the full redesign of the cards module.

Can I try a marketplace training before buying it?

Yes. "Add" puts it in your drafts: you can watch the videos, see the quizzes and customize it. We only reach out once you activate it. Listed prices are base prices — volume discounts, a 12-month unlimited format, or the full library starting at $179 per person.
