BRIX 3.2.5: Audio and Video Calls in BRIX Chat

Here are the release notes for BRIX 3.2.5 and BRIX Chat 2.0.0. These updates bring plenty of new features and improvements to make your experience even better, on mobile and on the web portal.

Audio and video calls come to BRIX Chat
Your crews can now call each other right from a conversation, one-on-one or in a group. Two buttons in the conversation header start an audio or video call. Calls ring even when the app is closed, and you can minimize a call to keep typing in the chat. When a call ends, a message in the conversation keeps track of it (missed call or duration).

The result: faster, more human communication, wherever your crews are.

Up to 50 photos and videos per post
You can now attach up to 50 photos and videos to a post or event, up from 20. In the mobile app, the limit goes from 10 to 50 media per post. Posts imported from SharePoint get the new limit too.
The result: richer posts to document a job site, an activity or an event.

Rename your predefined audiences
Admins can give their own names to the five predefined audiences (Sites, Positions, Job categories, Trades and Projects), in French, English and Spanish. A “Translate” button helps fill in the other languages. The new name shows up everywhere the audience appears: in Admin, in the mobile app and in exports. A reset button lets you go back to the BRIX names anytime.
The result: audiences that speak the same language as your organization.
